8 Chakras
OUR STORY

Many ways to wellbeing.
Room to find yours.

8 Chakras is Smita’s venture: a growing community for people interested in different approaches to wellbeing and a more considered way of life.

WHERE IT BEGAN

An experience.
Then an idea.

Smita’s connection with Kerry began as a student and retreat participant. The experience helped shape an idea for 8 Chakras: a place where people could discover practices, meet practitioners and learn through shared experiences.

Retreats are our starting point. Over time, we want to build a wider home for conversations, practitioner discovery and community across mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

THE CONNECTION BEHIND THE COLLABORATION

It began with
being there.

Before 8 Chakras and Kerry planned retreats together, Smita joined one herself. Time away, shared experiences and the people she met became the starting point for this collaboration.

THE NAME

The map was always more interesting.

Our name draws inspiration from chakra traditions and the different ways people have used them to understand experience. For us, it opens a conversation about wellbeing in its many dimensions.

We organise that exploration around four dimensions: Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual. They overlap, as life does.

OUR APPROACH

Curious. Honest. Rooted.

We bring respect for tradition, attention to evidence and an openness to personal experience. Beginners, sceptics and seasoned seekers all have a place here.

We explain what a practice involves, make room for questions and say when something remains uncertain. You decide what you want to explore.
